In 2019, the Council of China Hemp Textile Industry Association was held in Shanghai on March 13, 2019. More than 120 representatives from enterprises in the national hemp textile industry attended the meeting. Yang Zhaohua, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council, Yu Ling, deputy researcher of Xinyu City Industrial and Informationization Committee of Jiangxi Province, and Xie Yunping, former director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Government of Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Chengze, vice president and secretary general of the China Hemp Textile Industry Association.
